Carlo is a FANTASTIC tour guide, and we cannot recommend him enough. We spent a half day with Carlo touring the Colosseum and Roman Forum, and it was equal parts educational and entertaining. Having Carlo as a tour guide is like spending time with an old friend. He is friendly, warm, patient, and easy going. He is also an extremely knowledgeable historian and subject matter expert on all things Rome - both ancient and modern. Not only did she tell us the historical history of the places we visited, she gave us details of life in Rome now. We were able to tailor our trip to the places that were most important to us and she was able to get tickets to the places that had been challenging for us. Wonderful Tour Experience with Vanessa Our family truly enjoyed the tour that Vanessa prepared for us. She shared so many interesting historical facts, and the way she explained everything made it easy for all of us to understand. We have three different age groups in our family—18, 30, and 60—and everyone was engaged and happy throughout the tour. Everything was perfectly organized. We didn’t have to wait in line anywhere, and the entire day was stress-free. We also really appreciated the small, private setting. We don’t enjoy large group tours, and Vanessa made us feel like a special group that received personal attention from beginning to end. We highly recommend Vanessa your next travel planner.
